Another view of the unfinished staircase. The expansion joint moulding has not been installed yet. The baseboards still need to be caulked, filled and finished with a final coat of paint. It may not seem like much but it's a pain in the butt when you can't really push all your furniture up against the wall because you're waiting for painters to finish.

We moved in 12 days ago and the builder still has not finished the house. As you can see, we still have no railings or carpet in our staircase and there are a little more than paint touch-ups to complete. The ledge has major drywall patch still to be painted.
